SYNOPSIS

Equipping 21st-century learners with skills of the 21st century necessitates an intense engagement by the educator; an engagement that goes far beyond the traditional pedagogical approaches.

Experiential Learning is not just about breaking the monotony of a class by taking up random activities or asking students to go, explore & interact with the world! It is about creating a lesson plan according to the details of Experiential Learning Theory modeled by Prof Kolb that enables students to go through the stages of Concrete Experience; Reflective Observation; Abstract Conceptualization and Active Experimentation. In such a form of learning, students learn to act, reflect, research, think, and apply. Moving through these four steps enables students to inculcate quintessential 21st-century skills of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.
